Need wallet app feature! Loyalty cards

I hear what you’re saying, I too have foregone some loyalty cards because I prefer to NOT add what appeared to be a fairly “sketcky” app.

BUT loyalty cards belong to the company to whom you are loyal; is it not their prerogative to determine HOW cards are added to a mobile wallet?

After all, you CAN snap an image of an existing card into Photos … or Notes … today. BUT that doesn’t pair THAT card to YOU. An unlimited number of users could scan the same card and therefore ALL receive the same benefits.

What Apple Wallet does is provide a contactless way to use your current cards. How those cards are created is not up to Apple. I dont have the Lowes or the Walgreens app. I think I went though their websites or I had the app and deleted it right after I get the Wallet part I needed. This is not an Apple issue.

The app developer needs to write an app that is compatible. Jimmy Johns has done this and my rewards card is in Wallet

Lowes and Walgreens are two others who have Wallet compatible apps. Meanwhile all my other rewards are in the app called "key ring"

That is no fault of Apple's. you are aiming this at the wrong company.
