I keep getting a pop-up that says: "iPhone Memory is Full". It then prompts me to "Clean Memory" by clicking on a link which it claims will then direct me the App Store where I'm supposed to install the "Smart Cleaner" app. There is such an app in the store, but I'm still pretty sure this is some type of scam because when I check my phone's capacity, I have 83GB available from a total capacity of 128GB.

Ok- so i am asking about my iPhone 13 Pro that keeps telling me my memory is full - this switcher sounds like I need to go to the desktop and do those steps- what am I not understanding here - sorry to ask if this is silly question cuz I really do appreciate the help-

So what are you supposed to do, anything? It’s pretty annoying that it pops up all the time
Open the App Switcher, find Safari, tap and hold it and swipe up to remove it.
Go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data an do so.
Restart your iPhone.
So my phone has been compromised and it's a scan - asking me to download that application ?
I think you meant scam and no, your iPhone has not been compromised.
Side up from the bottom then hold you will see all the recently used apps.
