Can I repair my iPhone 12 Pro with my apple care+ then trade in?

I have 4-5 months for my apple care+ end. I want to buy new iPhone before it ends.

So I want to repair my iPhone 12 Pro with apple care+ and trade in it to new iPhone.

Can I do that at same time?

* I will pay $99 for repair phone tho. Cuz I think repairing phone would be better price to trade in.
