Without seeing what exactly you have, hard to say..

here is what a USB C to lightning cable looks like

You should be able to figure out which type of plug your charger has based on those photos.

USB C is much smaller than USB A, and it's reversible, meaning you can plug it in 2 different orientations

yeah I figured it was the USB C type, but I couldn't remember exactly when they switched it up
