Which cable and charger is needed for iPad Air 5th generation?

I just got my daughter a iPad Air 5th generation and none of our portable chargers are compatible with the new cord. Is there another cord I could look for or a specific type of portable charger?

The iPad Air5 is supplied with a 20W USB-C Power Adapter and USB-C to USB-C cable. This Power Adapter will provide optimum fast charging at the iPad’s maximum supported charging rate.

While you can charge the iPad Air5 with standard USB Power Adapters, for those with USB Type-A connector, the iPad will limit is maximum charging rate to 12W (i.e., 2.4A @5V). You will also require a USB Type-A to USB-C cable. For example:

  • mophie USB-A Cable with USB-C Connector (1 m)
