Updating your iPhone doesn't cause you to 'lose' apps.
If you were running say iOS 13 and an app was not being actively maintained by the developer, updating to iOS 15 could make the app unusable..
Your details show that you are running iOS 15, so updating to another release of iOS 15 is unlikely to cause a problem. And with an iPhone 7 you've clearly updated your iOS multiple times before...
