Can see iTag in Find My but not in Settings and not under Bluetooth. It didn’t prompt me to connect with my Apple ID during set up. How do I connect/pair iTag with Apple ID?
No. Under Settings ➡️ Apple ID (Your Name at Top): Here you will see all of your devices that are actually signed on with your Apple ID. You will not see the AirTag here. AirTag will only be found within the Find My app.

You are NOT going to be able to see your AirTag in Settings or under Bluetooth. You will see your AirTag in the Find My app under Items tab. If you can see your AirTag in the Find My app, then it is already connected with your Apple ID.

That’s great thank you! In one of the Set Up guides it was saying I needed to pair with Apple ID so that was concerning.
shouldn't it appear under Settings/ Rochelle where the iPhone and iPad are listed as well though?…
