Is the iPhone water proof

i have the iPhone 6s Plus I paid 180$ at a fix ur phone place for it it’s a decent phone I went from android to apple it’s nice but I’m waiting to know is it water proof Or water resistant

No iPhone is waterproof.

The iPhone 7 was the first model iPhone to have any water resistance rating. Your iPhone 6s Plus is not water resistant at all.

In addition, if it was repaired by an unauthorized service provider, not only would not no longer be water resistant, it would be completely untouchable by Apple if it ever needed service.

No, the iPhone is not waterproof. It is water resistant.
