Albums and Smart Albums opening at opposite ends

Hi All,

MPB M1 - Monterey

I have found that my Albums always open at the top (first photo) but my Smart Albums always at the bottom (last photo).

I am finding this terribly frustrating as I use both types of albums and it is quite inconsistent. It would be most helpful to be able to have them the same way. Have I missed a setting somewhere?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 12.5

That appears to be the default regardless of the sort order chosen. Tell Apple what missing features you'd like restored or new features added in Photos via Feedback - Photos - Apple
