iphone 13 pro max/ Apple watch 7 45mm

Hi everyone :) recently I switched to apple so I'm new to ios and I have a question regarding iPhone/Apple watch.

When I wear my watch and receive calls or notifications I notice that the phone is sort of muted. Are there any settings that the phone will ring, please?

silent phone When I connect my iPhone 13 Max pro to my apple watch 8 , my phone no longer make notification sounds if the screen has gone to sleep mode or gone dark. My husband , or daughter doesn't have this issue. When their iPhone is blue toothed to the apple watch they both give audible notifications. So it must be a setting that I'm doing wrong. Can someone help???

Phone rings when wearing Watch Ultra I have my watch set to vibrate, but my phone is not muted by the switch on the side; I thought in the past that as long as I'm wearing my watch the phone would not ring no matter if my phone was on silent or not. Am I mistaken? Is there a way, without always switching my phone to silent, to set it so it just doesn't ring if I'm wearing the watch? Thanks.
