my portable 17" ASUS monitor worked on Macbooks pro, but doesn't on my iMac.
Any ideas?

Success... I had to go to ASUS site to download a "DisplayLink app". No need for any adapter adjustments.

Which type of connection does the monitor require?
It has a USB for power but I used a USB to C ON THE MacBook Pro… I have tried with and without the adapter… no luck. Maybe a driver or extensión? I don’t recall having to do the on the laptop…
