I sent my friend a video while their iPhone was in airplane mode. It shows “Sent as Text Message” under my video. Will they receive my video once they turn off airplane mode in a week? Or does the video never go through because it’s not actual text?

Video would be a MMS message and not a SMS message. Not sure how long the other person’s carrier will keep a MMS message in buffer to deliver. My recommendation is that you check when your friend is back on the network and then send the video again if s/he has not already received it.
