adding a CC to iPad

When buying online, when it comes time to pay, when tapping in the credit card fields, a suggestion pops up at the top of the keyboard (MasterCard in my case), which, when tapped, fills in the CC information.

There are times when I want to use a different card but I can't find a way to enter its info such that it is saved somewhere in my Apple ecosystem, as the first card is.

I've searched through various settings but can't even find where the first card's info is stored, let alone a way to save the second card's data.

Any pointers to a solution would be awesome.

Thank yo.

The Credit Card data that you are using is populated from your Safari Autofill Settings:

Settings > Safari > AutoFill > Saved Credit Cards

Here you can configure multiple Credit, Debit and other Payment cards. Having configured multiple cards, when entering Credit Card data on a webpage, you’ll see multiple cards offered as suggestions along the top-edge of the on-screen keyboard. Tapping a suggested card will “AutoFill” the card data to the webpage.

More information about the AutoFill feature can be found in the iPad User Guide:

I am at iPadOS 15.6.1. I'll have to change my Discusion settings.

The Apple Pay was the first setting I looked at but my impression is that I must sign up for an Apple Card to set up Apple Pay, and I don't really need another CC.

I used to be able to switch from my MC to my Visa up until I was issued a new Visa. I'm trying to add it back in, without unnecessarily adding Apple Pay.
