Hello. My iPad air 1st gen has appeared to stop updating. The iPad is in good condition. Please help!

Hello. Unfortunately, after a while, apple devices get out of date Which means they can’t update anymore. The hardware inside becomes incompatible with the new software. Jailbreaks are not safe for any apple devices, including outdated ones.
Consider purchasing a new iPad. It comes with the latest software and will continue to adopt new ones over the next coming years: iPad - Apple
