Apple ID

I signed out of my apple id but I need to access my phone number to log back in but my phone number is disabled. I press to create my account, but my secure phone number is not registered, there is only 1 number and that number is closed. Can I access my account again?

See if anything here helps.  If necessary, you can use account recovery as explained in the link at bottom of the article.

Can I access my account again?

You are sign in here .  .  .  with your Apple ID & Password.

Your Apple ID is the personal account you use with all Apple products and services. It includes the email address and password you use to sign in, as well as the contact, payment, and security details that you use with Apple.

You can’t merge multiple Apple ID accounts.

What happens when you use the same Apple ID that you use to sign in here?

What do you mean with -> that number is closed?

You need to have a trusted phone number.

Look for / visit a carrier, take a subscription, postpaid or prepaid card.

Checks whether the SIM card is suitable for your iPhone.

See this Apple article: How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier

How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier - Apple Support

  • Apple can't unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier. Only your carrier can unlock your iPhone.

Normally (in the EU) after 2 years the consumer has the right to ask the previous carrier unlock the iPhone.

Then -> Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details.

https://appleid.apple.com

-> edit your 'new' trusted phone number.

Without a SIM card you cannot make and receive calls and no SMS, no WhatsApp.

There is also no service.

If there is Wi-Fi, you can still surf the internet and send and receive mail.
