Can I use an iMac as a Bluetooth display from my MacBook

Wondering if an iMac is a good purchase for a MacBook display Bluetooth?

No it is not. The only way to use an iMac as monitor for another mac computer is with 3rd party software. I'm currently using Luna Display. I would only recommend a wired connection between the two computers to get a decent refresh rate. My current setup is wired Ethernet. Luna Display can also make the connection via thunderbolt. I haven't tried this setup yet.
