Dear all,
I am becoming increasingly frustrated as a lot of my good old apple software stops working when I update my OS or buy a new laptop as I recently did. I have several dictionaries etc. that I would really want to continue using on my new m1 computer. Is there a way like there is in e.g. windows to run older software in Monterey on an M1 computer? I need to be able to run these softwares with out rebooting.

There is no workaround, 32bit software can't be installed on a M1 Mac.

Of course you can! I can for example install parallel desktop and run windows 11 through it, in windows 11 I can run 32-bit software! I can then install MACOS virtual box with high sierra on the windows and use that to run the old version of the Oxford English Dictionary or other older programs I need. Well done apple?
I'm not looking for someone to tell me the obvious I'm looking for a workaround, a solution, a way to run old programs on a new computer please, there should be an emulator or something comparable to WINE that works on new macs.
