My Iphone XR is connecting only to Edge Network not 4G or 3G

My Iphone XR is connecting to the Edge Network not 4G or 3G, I am facing this issue after the Ios update 15.6. I tried the below:

Restore to factory settings

Restore the ios from I-Tunes software from laptop.

Nothing worked. Everytime it connects only to the Edge network. I am not able to make calls in the first attempt itself, also if someone wants to call me, they have to make a try for couple of times. Also the call gets disconnected in between or the caller in the other side couldnt hear me.

Apple tech support doesnt have any solution for this issue (Very bad). The only solution they suggest is to reinstall the OS from apple server. By doing so they also state that there is a 50% chance that the phone may be deactivated and will be dead forever when updating the ios from the Apple server(???????!!!!) and I need to pay INR39900 for the replacement mobile as the phone is out of warranty.

Very disappointed !

Have you tried to use your iPhone in a different area? Are you sure that your cellular carrier network is okay? Have you asked your carrier for a spare SIM card? What did they say when you contacted them?

Then, if you're also sure that you have nothing (cover or screen protector) which can interfere with your XR's antenna, and/or if you already tried (to no avail) to Reset Network Settings, then yes, it might be a hardware failure but we, just users like you, cannot diagnose that kind of issue remotely, sorry.

Good day Giulio.

Yes, I tried using my mobile in different area - No improvement same issue

Cellular carrier - it is good, I tried the same Sim in other mobile, it worked fine - so no issues with the Carrier.

I didnt have any cover or Screen protector to cover the XR's antenna.

The Apple tech team, checked the mobile by connecting it to their system (Mac with Applie setup - Hardware and software test)- Nothing poped up, everything was working fine, as per the report.

I read lot of queries related to the same issue in the XR mobiles by other users also - it looks like there is no solution so far from Apple.
