Why is gmail email history just showing 2 days of emails as if two days ago?

Mail, limited history Running Mac OS 11.6.8. Since update, I can only see about 2 months worth of email history in Mail when it is synced with Google Mail. In Google, I can see years of emails. Why is Apple only giving me a couple of months? What is the fix?

Archived emails coming back to inbox There is a period of time in February where my archived emails keep coming back to my inbox. I archive them everyday and they still keep coming back. Help please!

You need to ask Google. Gmail is not an Apple product.
