How do I remove my old iPhone 8plus and add a trusted device to my iCloud devices? (A new iPhone 13)

Open system preferences and select Apple ID>your devices should be at the bottom. Select the one you want to remove. For adding one, you just need to sign in with the same Apple ID and turn on iCloud for that device.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't word my question correctly. What I'm really trying to do is change the description. Under settings/ Apple ID, at the bottom of the screen is the devices. One is my Mac, the other is my phone. I previously named it iPhone 8plus.... I now have an iPhone 13. I just want to change (edit) the name I previously gave it (iPhone 8plus to iPhone 13)
I don't see any way to do that.
