I deleted an icon(not the app) off of my home screen...how do i put it back. No, I did not delete the app-it is still there-from the app store I can only open it-NOT INSTALL IT-open is the only option from the app store. So the app is still on my phone. All this "the app is deleted" is wrong for my instance.

Have you checked the App Library? Go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.
