Contacts on the iPhone are synced from a mail account. If you are using iCloud to manage your contacts, all you need to do is go to Settings>your Apple ID>iCloud, then turn on the switch for Contacts.


If you are using another email account, such as Gmail, go to the Mail Settings and turn on the switch for Contacts there.
