How do I recover my Apple ID and Apple password?

How do I recover my Apple ID and my Apple password on my desktop Mac? I have access to my iPhone and iPad. I’ve been able to install Google chrome but I can’t access all my photos. It keeps asking for my Apple I’d and Apple password.
