Likely during the Number Port Process (Transfer your Tel# from old carrier to new carrier) the New Carrier didn't bridge your voicemail properly, or the old carrier has some sort of Vice Grip on your Tel#.
It's more likely fixable by contacting your current carrier's technical support line, and getting a ticket open. Especially if your plan / carrier is supposed to include VoiceMail in your monthly rates. Might even bring up asking them for some compensation for it being non-functional since you ported your number if they were responsible for it to function after your Port Completed.
