The iOS/iPadOS Mail filter function does not, of itself, provide a facility to filter by date. However, the Search function will accept date input. Examples:

  • Wednesday
  • Wednesday, 24 Aug 2022
  • Wed, 24 Aug 2022
  • August
  • 2022
  • Day
  • Week
  • Month
  • Year

As you input dates in the appropriate format, you’ll see suggestions by category - including Date. You can tap any of the suggestions to list mail messages that match the selected search clue.
