Apple Watch international use

Hi- so I have purchased an international Plan through AT&T for my upcoming trip for my iPhone. But I did not want to pay the additional fee for my Apple Watch. will I be able to still use my Apple Watch 7 some of my watch features (step tracking/exercise) without purchasing an additional plan?

Apple Watch does not support cellular when roaming, so the watch will only work as a GPS model only.

Without a cellular plan the watch will function anywhere as a GPS only watch which means you can track your fitness /exercise as if you at your home country;
