I would like to command the template chooser to go directly to my template other than go through all the templates. So, go to the last option in the chooser.
Is there an option?
Your options are either the default template chooser panel, or you can specify one of your My Templates in Pages Preferences, so that when you launch the application, it opens a new document with that template. There is no My Templates chooser.

Perhaps an option for improvement of Pages. I learned that not only me want a direct opening from my own templates when choosing one. Exces to the complete list of (Apple) templates is BS during normal work with Pages.
So, opening directly in 'My templates' in stead of 'recent' is a thing for me.
Hereby my suggestion.
These are fellow user supported communities and neither Apple, nor the product development teams participate here. You can provide feedback to the Pages product team directly from the application menu, and that is the only means to share your request for product enhancements or bug fixes.

Could be, but 'should be' statements/questions are beyond the scope of these user-to-user communities. Use the Provide Pages Feedback menu item in the Pages menu to make a feature request directly to Apple.

Thx for your remarks Barry. Off course I know the option for feedback in the Pages menu and I'll used it. My remarks were merely placed to trigger other reader to do the same. One feedback remark doesn't rock the Apple world.
