Permanently delete emails error messages

I have a iPhone 11 I’m trying to permanently delete emails but I keep getting a error message that states. “Unable to permanently delete emails some emails some may have been deleted. How do I fix this problem

Contact your email provider and/or the developer of whatever mail client you’re using. That is not the native ios mail app.
