In iOS release 15.6.1 select all in edit inbox is missing

In my aol email, I no longer have the ability to select all to delete email in this inbox. It was there in edit mode before the 15.6.1 update. It is still there in my web site email box downloaded to my iPhone.

is that a bug?

Hi Crumider,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! What option do you see in the top left corner after selecting Edit with-in the inbox? Are you able to select this option with any other email provider inbox?

Since noticing this issue, has the Mail app been closed out and relaunched? You can do this by doing the following:

  1. "Go to the Home Screen
  2. Swipe up from the bottom, pausing in the middle of the screen
  3. Swipe left or right to locate the Mail app preview.
  4. Swipe up on the preview to close out the app."

This step can help when an app is not behaving as expected.

You can also restart your iPhone since that can help when we experience unexpected behavior with our devices.

To restart your iPhone, do the following:

  1. "Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider and wait about 30 seconds.
  3. Press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears to power it back on. Once back on, test to see if this continues."

Take Care!
