Printing Error

Came in today, and tried to print a few things, and I'm getting "Filter failed" on the print queue. It will stop after the first page. I have a MacBook Pro 2015 running the latest Monterrey version. I am printing to a Toshiba e-Studio 3550. From what I can gather on this forum, it is possibly an update issue? I have the latest drivers installed for the printer and I've reset my printer system on the computer and reinstalled the printer. I am boggled.
