Facetime without permission

This is the second time and second phone that this has happened, extremely embarrassing. NO. There is no speakerphone or screen protector or whatever you want to blame it on. This 6se is new and I forgot to turn off FaceTime. Please do not deliver phones with Face Time turned on until you can find a fix for this. While talking to someone it just switches over.

How do I prevent FaceTime from bypassing Screen Time on iPhone? FaceTime used to bypass screentime. It is all over SoMe and my kids were on their phones way past curfew. Thankfully I spotted this in their usage but it could have gone on for a while. This has been around for a couple of months. Fix it!! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Either party can switch to FaceTime during calls.
