My iPad pro 3rd gen keeps failing in recovery mode after an update failed

Is there another way to restore/reset to factory so that I can resume using my ipad?.

Hey TennLyon,


Since the device is in recovery mode, restoring is the only option available. If you haven't done so already, try restoring using a different USB cable and computer if available.


Keep in mind, restoring to factory settings will remove all data from the iPad, however if you have a iTunes or iCloud backup, you'll be able to restore it afterwards.


If there is antivirus and/or a firewall installed, disable to ensure it's not interfering .


If you continue to get the error, contact Apple Support: Get Support.
