iPad screenshots not working

i’m having an issue on my ipad which is when i take a screenshot it doesn’t save to photos.

it has nothing to do with storage, my iPad is still new.

how can I fix this? Please help!

If you are experiencing difficulties, what happens when you try to take a screenshot. Do you see the initial markup screen - from which you can save your screenshot? Do you see any errors - is so, what do you see?
