Connect Apple TV to hotspot
Connecting Apple TV to WiFi hotspot on iPhone. After selecting iPhone name for hotspot I’m not prompted for password and receive error code 100.

Also, please note that Personal Hotspot is a cellular connection and streaming devices like Apple TV can use substantial amounts of cellular data. That being said, we would suggest checking with your carrier to make sure your data plan is sufficient.
