I keep getting the wet error msg and I knew it wasn’t wet cause I used a new one and still got msg. Now what do I do? The phone hasn’t been wet at all-

If it says there is water in the lightning port try cleaning it out. Use a bright light and a toothpick. Any conductive dirt in the port will be “seen” by iOS as moisture in the port.


To check the phone carefully remove the SIM card holder and look inside with a bright light. A white spot is good, a red spot means that moisture has gotten into the phone.
