can MS office run on M2 processor?

Can MS Office (NOT Office365) run on the new M2 processor? I read somewhere awhile back that there was a problem as the new hardware wasn't Intel so MS Office wouldn't work.

Hello share3141,

I'm currently using MS Office (not Office365) on my MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro Processor without issues.

The ARM processing Macs come with an application called Rosetta which helps intel-based apps communicate with ARM (in your case, M2) processors.

You'll be fine using MS Office on your M2.
