I am running MS Office home and business 2021 for Mac (v16.71) on my M2 mini pro (Ventura 13.2.1). No issues.

Check out the reduced price offers for Office 2021 for Mac on AppleInsider or Techbargains. It varies from $30 - $50 instead of $250. Shows up in my Microsoft account's purchases panel.
