Why can’t I add someone to my existing apple family? Keep getting verification error.

I’ve had my own apple family account for over a year and it works well, I only have two people in it with me and I’m trying to add another person now and it won’t let me. It’s saying “Verification failed: error description not available”. How does this get fixed?

Unable to create a new Apple ID Hello All, good day. I have a valid Apple ID shared within family members. I want to create a new Apple ID and still be able to use all the purchases made with the old one. However I am not able to create new Apple ID. I get the verification code in the gmail account which I want to use as new AppleID. However error results as attached. I followed the link below, as was suggested earlier. Setting up child account on new iPad and having phone number issues Just got my 9 year old a new iPad and want to add her to the family share and create an account for her. I get through every step and when asks for my phone number to receive verification codes, it gives me this error. "Cannot create account. Too many verification codes have been sent to this number. Try again later". I did try again later, 24 hours later and still same message. Any help would be appreciated.

Some things you can try. Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone *

Try a forced restart. See the section towards the end of the article.

Reset Device. -
