Touch ID sensor doesn't work at all!?
I have had my 2018 MacBook Air since it came out in stores, and it started acting up recently. The only problem I can't find an answer for is the Touch ID problem. It's fully up to date, I reset the SMC thing, did the diagnostic test, restarted in recovery mode, and did any trick I could find online but nothing has worked. The button itself works (turns my laptop on and off), but my Touch ID sensor isn't sensing anything... The sensor is clean, and my hands are clean and dry. I went to add a new fingerprint but it instantly said Touch ID failed. What's going on? It's driving me nuts!
