Unable to mount Internal SSD on macbook pro 2012

Hi all,

my macbook pro 2012 after upgrading to catalina. Suddenly shuts down. And when i power it on again it will start the progress bar for few seconds but restart again. Checked the disk utility and i found out the data drive was unmounted. Now my problems are

  1. unable to first aid on disk utility
  2. unable to mount the disk back. See pictures

If First Aid is unable to repair the volume, then you will most likely need to start over and erase the whole physical drive, reinstall macOS and restore from a backup.

You don't mention the exact model of the laptop since there is a Retina and non-Retina model, plus you ignored the size of the laptop. If you have the 13" non-Retina model, then maybe the internal hard drive SATA Cable is bad which is very common on the 13" non-Retina model especially when used with an SSD.

Does the laptop contain an original Apple OEM SSD or a third party SSD (make & model)?

FYI, if you click "Show Details" you would get some more specific details about the error.
