When I go to change screen time passcode there is a keyboard on the bottom of the screen not a “forgot passcode”

I have tried the Apple fix to reset my forgotten screen time passcode.

but when I get to that screen there is a keyboard the bottom I assume covering the “forgotten passcode” option… help please

This does not work as I must not have enabled the recovery password option when I set up screen time.

When I follow If you forgot your Screen Time passcode - Apple Support the "forget password" does not appear on the screen, there is a keyboard on the bottom of the screen and no other option.

If I delete and erase the phone what info can I retrieve from iCloud or a backup without bringing the Screen Time lock with it?
The screen time was set up a long time ago so iCloud might not be the option?
If I start from scratch with the phone then link to iCloud will it bring the screen time lock automatically onto the phone when it backs up or will it push the "screen time free" info from the phone to iCloud and I will be free or screen time?
If I use iTunes - what can I backup from there?

Sorry I am losing my mind with this screen time passcode!
