Watch 7 altimeter error
My watch has always shown me as being at 39,000+ feet when I am in fact at 200+ feet. Is there a software fix or a recall for this?

Did not solve it. There have been a couple of software updates too that do a full reboot. I reported this a few months ago and there were others with this issue then, hoped that a solution had been found.
Fixed the altimeter problem! Yesterday I failed to charge the watch and it went dead. After charging the altimeter was correct. Weird.
This is the first I've heard of this. Try resetting the Apple Watch. Press and hold the Digital Crown and power button together until you see thge Apple logo and then release. The Watch will reboot.
The only working fix that I've seen for this is to unpair and re-pair.
