Iphone 12 frozen

My iPOHone 12 gotr progressively less functional over 3-4 days until it has completely frozen with the screen on. The desktops look normal and I can change them right and left with gestures. I can change the volume up and down.

I cannot make or answer a phone call, open any app sloce the screen or turn off the phone. I tried the force reset process i found in another post, no success. Any ideas?
