I can watch certain shows on the Apple TV App but others say "problem loading this video". I have unplugged, reloaded, updated, ... I can be watching a series one day and then I cannot watch it again, BUT i can watch a different show (one that I haven't watched before) on the same App. Is this a weird marketing thing to get me to watch other series? Please suggest something!

It seems to happen for some users, but not others. My impression on that is that something in the network settings is different than expected. If you use a custom DNS on your device or router, then try settings the default DNS from your ISP. If you use a VPN, then turn that off.
