Significant Locations

So if this feature is no longer able to be viewed by us, then why have on there that there are a record of 25 places recorded and honestly why can’t we view what the company is actually keeping record of us for? That feels like a violation of my privacy too. Like there’s access to my location but I myself can’t access it.🤔🤔

Although I agree that it is a bit frustrating not having access to that kind of data, neither does Apple.


Significant Locations: Your iPad and iCloud-connected devices will keep track of places you have recently been, as well as how often and when you visited them, in order to learn places that are significant to you. This data is end-to-end encrypted and cannot be read by Apple. It is used to provide you with personalized services, such as predictive traffic routing, and to build better Memories in Photos.
