The following is what I did to solve the problem. I hope it works for you and anyone else who has the problem.
I went to Mail Preferences, clicked on Privacy, and then unchecked Protect Mail Activity.

A - That specific aspect of the question and " I don't want to use Safari I use Brave. " has had a suggestion provided
A - Big Sur has been updated again as of Monday Sept 12, 2022 to version 11.7
A - Remove Brave as per Developers Instructions and download a Newer Version of the browser

Then suggestion, the next time an e-mail arrives with a url link --> Right Click the Link and refer to below illustration
I don't want to use Safari I use Brave.
One of the main problems is actually launching Brave using Launchbar
I get that.
However as mentioned if I try and launch Brave via Launchbar I get the error.
New version of BS (which I didn't know had been released) fixed it.
