The Sky Go app is located here: Startup drive > Users > Account > Applications
Move it to the Applications folder marked in red
Download and run the shareware app Find Any File to search for any files with the application's name in the file name. For the Sky Go software you'd do the following search(es):
1 - Name contains sky go
2 - Name contains sky
Use this search result format:
So you can get this result and know where the app and it's files are located:
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages.
Thanks for you help, that's worked, it opened from there but I still have no clue where it's located and it didn't specify a location in Spotlight either. The instructions say it opens from Launchpad, maybe mine will be from Spotlight (ha ha)
Have you searched for it using Spotlight? You can use a partial name as search criteria.
This should help: https://www.sky.com/watch/sky-go/macos
I tried this before I posted the query but the app isn't in the applications for older for some reason. I've installed it twice and had no luck. Thanks for posting your answer
I followed the instructions carefully when I installed the app but was unable locater it anywhere. The web page says i should find it in Launchpad but it's not there. Thanks for replying
