I cleaned my Mac recently and after 5-10 minutes cleaning the screen is brighter than usual and its straining my eyes. It also super reflective as well. Note that I cleaned it 2 times yesterday to remove some remaing smudges/stains. I read that you can remove the anti-glare coating. Did I do it by accident?
Note 2: To avoid confusion, the smudges are fingerprints

That would be an option, yes. Apple might have suggestions for your specific display and whatever might be (or was) on it, and will know if the screen has been damaged.
The lighting in that room seems ill-conducive to using any display.

Local display preference: If I can see any reflections on any display, the room lighting and/or the display positioning is bad, and something here needs to be fixed, re-oriented, re-shaded, or removed. Screen anti-reflection coatings only get me so far.
Residue of what? If from cleaning something else that was dirty, that residue might act as an abrasive. That's why the instructions always advise a clean soft cloth.
I can't imagine cleaning a non touch Mac screen for even 5 minutes. When I clean it's a couple of quick swipes with a clean, usually dry, microfiber cloth. The little smudges that are left are simply not worth the extra effort to me.
So its best to contact Apple Support before going to the Genius Bar?

Forgot to put this, felt the screen is very glossy
My room lighting is pretty okay right now (the picture was taken from this morning) but this wasn't an issue before as this didn't strain my eyes
What fluid did you scrub it with? In my opinion, 10 minutes is waaaayy too long. If you managed to remove an anti glare coating, it wasn't by accident.
