I started the day unable to Microsoft for Mac, I updated what I could and eventually found out I have to update to Monterey…However am unable to get the newest OSX update. I have restarted my MacBook Air multiple times. My Macbook is 2013, 2 for reference.

Monterey isn't compatible with your computer. If you're trying to use Microsoft Office, the current version of it will run in Catalina and newer.
