App Store

I just got a new Mac, but when I go into the App Store for the first time and try to download any app, it says review your information. I click it and then it says this Apple ID hasn't been used in the App Store. How do I fix this? An old response said sign into iTunes, but that does not work either.

When you get that message on your screen, tap Review -> review your account information.

Click Review repeatedly. 

Some people have only had a response after a second or subsequent click.

Try to download a free app at the App Store.

Log in at appleid.apple.com and make sure you have payment information stored there.

Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details.

https://appleid.apple.com

On the Sidebar click Payment methods -> then tap Payments Methods and tap Manage payment method.


Or -> Change, add or remove Apple ID payment methods

Change, add or remove Apple ID payment methods – Apple Support (UK)

  • Add first the new card, then remove the old one.

 If you update your payment method or add funds to your Apple ID balance, It would take about 1 to 3 business days in order to process.
